Svea, always busy, always bustling, and Daniel, ever so undecided and withdrawn, want to make a fresh start on the island – and a small bookstore is supposed to be a part of their happiness: not a way to convince the doubtful islanders. They have their own way of life, thank you very much, and they have adapted to a perfect rhythm on the tiny island.
Svea’s incessant questions and Daniel’s unsolicited photography do nothing to win over the natives. But their curiosity wins in the end and first hesitant approaches and even friendships are born. Everything seems to fall into place, until something happens that no one could have foreseen…
