Valerie Fritsch's Lemon Optioned for Film Adaptation
Lemon, the new novel by Austrian author Valerie Fritsch (Heart Valves by Johnson & Johnsonand Winter’s Garden), tells the story of an existential act of liberation from a violent and abusive family setting. The film rights for Fritsch’s gripping story of a case of Munchhausen syndrome by proxy have just been acquired by a Munich-based production company.
Valerie Fritsch was born in 1989 and grew up in Austria. She studied at the Academy of Applied Photography and has worked as a photo artist since, while also being an award-winning author. She divides her time between Graz and Vienna.
