On 13 January 2024, the Austrian philosopher of science Paul Feyerabend would have turned 100 years old. To coincide with this anniversary, Suhrkamp published the book Historical Roots of Modern Problems. The text is taken from an influential lecture Feyerabend gave in Zurich in 1985, in which he shows that tracing social problems back to their origins can afford us a much more useful understanding of them.
