André Pilz

André Pilz, born in 1972, lives in Vorarlberg. Over the years, he has held various jobs and has been working as an independent author since 2007. His novels No llores, mi querida – Weine nicht, mein Schatz. Ein Skinhead-Roman (2005) and Man Down (2010) have been adapted for the stage and premiered in Berlin and Munich. He is also the author of the novels Bataillon d’Amour. Eine Geschichte von Liebe und Gewalt (2007), Die Lieder, das Töten (2012) and the crime novel Der anatolische Panther (2016, »Best Crime of the Month« list February 2017). Killing and Lying is his first book published by Suhrkamp.
