Ofer Waldman

Ofer Waldman was born in Jerusalem and moved to Berlin in 1999 as a member of the West-Eastern Divan Orchestra. He has played in numerous German and Israeli orchestras, including the Rundfunk Sinfonieorchester Berlin and the Israel Philharmonic Orchestra. Since 2015, he has worked as a freelance author and journalist, and in 2021, he won the ARD German Radio Play Prize together with Noam Brusilovsky. His literary debut, Singularkollektiv, was published in 2023 by Wallstein Verlag. Waldman is active in many NGOs. He divides his time between Israel and Germany.
