Tatjana Kruse grew up in a female-only household. What’s more, this household also included a small-town hotel run by her mother. It was only a matter of time until Tatjana Kruse would incorporate this experience into her literary work. By now she has made writing crime fiction her profession and has been awarded the Marlowe Literary Prize of the Raymond Chandler Society, the Fancy Media Prize as well as the Nordfälle Prize for her crime novels. Following the success of her old-timer detectives, the K&K sisters, Kruse now presents a new setup of dark humour.
